Sunday morning walk.
We didn't tary over the beignets and coffee as there was a mile-long line of tourists a mile long waiting in the drizzling rain.
I love the French Market.
In and amongst Jackson Square -
Statue of Andrew Jackson.
In 1814 we took a little trip / along with Colonel Jackson down the Mighty Mississip'
Window of Central Grocery, home of the original muffaletta sandwich.
Rainy night on Bourbon Street.
On Sunday night we had dinner reservations at The Bourbon House, owned by the Brennan family, famous for their New Orleans restaurants: Commander's Palace and Brennan's, among others.
We were early so we ducked into a Jester's to wait. Jester's has all kinds of daiquiris.
