I hope you are having and have had a wonderful Christmas. Ours is joyous. I'm blessed and happy. We will be Christmasing clear through this week and on into the next.
We enjoyed our hometown Christmas parade a couple of weeks ago and I had a post about it ready to go. I had a post about this Cooking Channel show, Cocktails and Cookies, and what my version would be like, planned out.
Then the shooting in Newtown happened and I just -- couldn't. I know life is for the living, that dwelling on unanswerable questions (Why??) isn't always healthy. I know. But it seemed so irreverent to talk about Christmas cookies and matching drinks and how because of Family Guy Jeffrey, The Child, and I get tickled every time we hear Carol of the Bells.
I'll tell those stories because I want to share the Christmas parade and all the other things about this time of year that give it such a warm, sweet glow. I will.
For now, Merry Christmas to you all. Here's to a fabulous new year.

Exactly.
Even though it's sharing joy, I just couldn't bring myself to prance out any thoughts of tea parties or dancing or cooking or lights. Not just yet.
And even then, beneath, under all the BRIGHT, a soft sorrow for us all.
I count you and your happy tellings and sweet moments among my greatest blessings, you know.
Keetha, I was just reading your tasty recipes for coffees on Pinterest, and I think you might check the peppermint one for the amount of peppermint extract.
Your analysis about this post Happy Everything, Everybody! are quite nice and also believable. I think you should do more study regarding the topic.
