The wild popularity of the chevron pattern.
I don't hate the chevron pattern; I'm just not as enthusiastic as its supporters. Pinterest is ate up with chevron-patterned tables, skirts, walls, shower curtains, you name it.

Chalkboard paint on things that aren't chalkboards.
All in the world I can think is what a mess that would be, chalk dust everywhere, and where would you keep the chalk and then you'd need to wash the chalkboard surface every now and then. (shudder) I'll stick with my labelmaker.
Ombre everything - coffee filter flowers, skirts, drapes, wedding cakes, onesies.

funny Pinterest boards. Gotta laugh.
